ABOUT 

Our mission is to bring African expertise closer to the centre of international conversations which shape global decision-making.

 

We seek to provide a comprehensive, searchable online database of Experts on Africa who are active in a range of different sectors including health, agriculture, the economy and trade to ease the access to African expertise for international institutions, media and think tanks.

​

Our platform aims to increase seasoned specialists' accessibility and visibility to international institutions, think tanks and media, while providing support for media relations, public speaking, and assist them in joining and consolidating their presence in communities of experts.

Experts on Africa is an initiative of What's in it for Africa, a strategic communications agency that helps Africa speak for itself.

We are accepting applications from Experts. Through this community, we hope to create space and opportunities for Africa's experts to connect with influential organisations.

 

Our ultimate goal is to foster strong relationships and fruitful collaboration between professionals, international institutions, think tanks and media outlets. in preparation for our official launch of the database in 2022.

Are you eligible?

 

Experts should have at least 5 years of experience in their sector which is related to a specific African country, region or the continent as a whole and recent media exposure to be considered for the database.
